The coating specimens including Al2O3 and FeAl/Al2O3 coatings prepared on the CLAM specimens were also exposed in the DRAGON-RT device, the results revealed that there was no obvious thinning observed on the outer surface of the protective coating. Preliminary analysis of SiCf/SiC composites specimens indicated that the mullite coating with plasma spray method on the SiCf/SiC composites specimen corroded in the high temperature LiPb, but no obvious corrosion attack was observed on the specimen surface, while the matrix and fiber of reaction-sintered composites showed slightly corrosion attack after exposure in static LiPb at 800°C for 200 hrs.

The plates were air cooled to to room temperature. Finally, the steel plates were subjected to the following heat treatment: normalized (at 980 °C for 30 min) and tempered (at 750°C for 1h). The microstructural characterization was made by means of optical and scanning electron microscopy. The grain size was measured according to ISO 643:2003 standard using electrolytic oxalic acid as etching agent. The hardness was determined using the Vickers procedure with a 30 Kg load (HV30). 5 % and a subsequent loading rate of 6 mm/min until the end of the test.

The g x b analysis showed that the b of the dislocations observed was the mixture of a<100> and a/2<111> types with comparable fractions. Although applied force to BCC crystalline materials creates mostly a/2<111> type dislocations, a<100> type a b c B [0 0 1] 2 2 1 1 1 3 g [1 1 0] 3 g [2 0 0] 4 4 g [1 -1 0] 200 nm Fig. 5 Burgers vector analysis of dislocations formed by 20% cold work after precipitation heat treatment (1300K for 1 hour followed by 873K for 20 hours). The specimen was heat-treated at 1023K for 80 hour before TEM observation for comparison with the creep-tested specimens shown in Fig.
